Cirque RAW presents a captivating and cinematic exploration of the world of circus arts, skillfully combining minimalistic storytelling with a surrealist perspective.
Embarking on a journey that spanned borders and encompassed breathtaking locations in Costa Rica, Nevada and beyond, the Cirque du Soleil Content Studio turned dreams into reality. The result was a visually stunning series that not only showcased RAW athleticism and talent but also evoked a sense of awe through mesmerizing videos set against fascinating landscapes and mysterious backgrounds.
Yuri Berger, Senior Creative Producer, describes the series as an endeavor to delve deeper into the essence of an artist's work, aiming to authentically reveal their individual artistry. And True to Cirque du Soleil spirit, an air of surrealism was defenitly infused into the performances.
The culmination of these efforts is a collection of fantastical episodes that seamlessly blend extraordinary human performances, distinctive settings, dreamlike moments, and an experience that effortlessly merges the realms of acrobatics and cinema.

From the enchanting realm of Cirque du Soleil to the captivating terrains of Costa Rica, this is the tale of ethereal beings (represented by strap (aerial) artists, Zoe Schubert and Marceau Bidal) descending upon a land veiled in intrigue and beauty. Through their presence, viewers will embark on an immersive voyage, unveiling the natural wonders of Costa Rica, including its sounds, landscapes, flora, and more.
These extraordinary individuals seamlessly blend their unique talents for a one-of-a-kind performancewhere nature harmonizes with human abilities, leaning into Costa Rica’s philosophy of “Pura Vida” as away of life.
This is an artistic and contemplative exploration of Costa Rica’s pristine wonders in tune with Cirque du Soleil’s otherworldly artistry – a display that goes beyond the standard travel video.
This stunning visual poem debuted on screens at Cirque du Soleil’s Big Top show, ECHO, in Atlanta, Georgia, of which, Costa Rica Tourism was an Official Touring Partner, before being widely shared to Cirque du Soleil social followers.
